Collecting Vintage Postcards from National Parks

I started collecting vintage postcards from national parks, a hobby that combines my love of travel and nature. I look for postcards from the 50s, 60s, and 70s—showing parks like Yellowstone, Yosemite, and the Grand Canyon. My favorite postcard is a 1960s photo of Old Faithful erupting, with a handwritten message on the back. I organize them in a scrapbook, adding notes about each park. Collecting these postcards taught me about national park history. Now, I visit national parks and buy modern postcards to add to my collection. It’s a way to dream about future trips and remember past ones.
